The lounge has since been expanded. The cigar selection is incredible. Prices reasonable. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. A must stop for any cigar smoker in the area.

Like the description above, Comfortable. Unpretentious. Relaxing. Accommodating. Friendly, yet classy. The staff is warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The selection incredible. Prices are moderate. But most of all, this place is very very accommodating. A home-awy-from-home that makes you feel special.

horrible selection and even worse prices. Then he insists you chose form the variety of 11 sticks available and pay double to use the lounge.

I went there on a Saturday night.... A private party had reserved the lounge area and one of their guests was allergic to smoke. I had just lit a $23 Cohiba I had purchased from the adjoining humidor and I was told I needed to put it out.
Yep, there was no smoking at this cigar bar on a saturday night due to a patron being allergic to smoke! Never again will I waste time or money at such an establishment.
You can't make this stuff up!

Wen there once on a Saturday night... A private party had reserved a portion of the lounge area and on of the guests was apparently "allergic" to smoke. I had just lit a $23 Cohiba I purchased from the humidor and was told by the bar tender I needed to put it out.

Yep, a cigar bar where smoking was prohibited on a Saturday night. Never again will I waste my time.

I think it's possible for new places to open up. What makes me believe this is a recent article in the Detroit News about the London Chop House opening and including a smoking area: http://www.freep.com/article/2...

Hopefully someone else can chime in who has more information about the permit/license/application process.

This place is amazing (:
It has a very calm, chill atmosphere, comfy chairs, and the tobacco is amazing.
I've been to places in Phoenix where they use the starbuzz stuff and this place completely blows them out of the water. The shisha they use is fresh, flavorful, and gives me a little buzz.
It's 14$ for the first bowl, and then 4.50 per refill.
It's so worth it!
The staff is friendly, and they take the time to make sure your okay with everything.

Was great to finally find a good cigar store in the Gaylord area. Went in to see if they had any good pipe tobacco and found many that Iliked including Some tins of Frog Morton. Very nice place to go and relax with your pipe. Will be back in a few weeks.

The Wharf is a relaxing place. They have a great staff that know their stuff. The there events have always been good, but since Jason has been running the events,they have been terrific! He has brought in more prizes to put in customers hands and they recently had a great St. Pattys' event with a beer vendor!

Sad to say although a good little cigar shop (good selection of most habanas) it is fundamentally 'little'.
Just get three persons inside and the UK smoking ban has made smoking in the store illegal.
Used to always be someone standing in the store puffing away on a cigar.
Oh I miss those days!
